Liverpool fans are seriously worried after hearing Mohamed Salah's latest comments about his future at the club.

With just three seasons left of the season, Liverpool fans are becoming more and more concerned that star players Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Salah could all leave as free agents this summer.

Negotiations for all three players are believed to have been ongoing since the start of the season but, as it stands, all three players are yet to announce new deals with the club.

But now, Liverpool fans think that they've been dealt a fresh blow over their hopes of Salah staying at the club after hearing the Egyptian's worrying comments in his latest interview.

Salah is currently enjoying perhaps his best season as a Liverpool player, scoring an incredible 30 goals and assisting 21 across 38 appearances for the Reds so far.

Throughout the season, he has been very public about his negotiations regarding his future, making it clear that, as it stands, he will be leaving in the summer.

And during his latest interview with Liverpool legend Steve McManaman, it appears that he's doubled down on this as he looked back on his Liverpool career so far.

"I want fans to remember that I gave it all to the fans," Salah told TNT Sports.

"I gave it all to the city. I was here, I wasn't lazy, I just enjoyed my football and gave it all.

"I think that's what the city is about - they give you love and you have a connection with them because you give your all.

"I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and I gave it all."

McManaman then followed up by asking Salah directly about his future plans, to which the star replied: “In a very polite way [no].”

Reacting to the comments on social media, one fan wrote: "We’re not ready for a goodbye just yet, Mohamed."

While agreed, writing: "Sounds like he's preparing us for a goodbye.:

And one frustrated fan added: "It would be unforgivable if Salah leaves at the end of the season. Fsg need to do something."
