One Liverpool star has appeared to confirm his desire to depart Anfield ahead of the summer transfer window.

It has been a fantastic campaign for Liverpool after they successfully claimed the Premier League title in Arne Slot's debut season.

The Dutchman had the almost impossible task of replacing Jurgen Klopp, but quickly endeared himself to the Anfield faithful.

Looking ahead, Liverpool are set to be active in the summer transfer window.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will soon depart upon the expiration of his contract, with the 26-year-old expected to join Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, the likes of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez have all been heavily linked with a move to Anfield.

Speaking after Sunday's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, current second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher appeared to express his desire to leave the club.

He said to Optus Sport: "I think I’ve said it before as well that I feel like I’m good enough to be a number one.

"I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out – and that’s what I’m looking to do."

Kelleher added: "This season I was lucky enough to play a lot of games, but it’s definitely something I’m looking at."

The 26-year-old has often deputised for first-choice stopper Alisson Becker, and has proved to be a reliable backup.

During the 24/25 campaign, Kelleher made a total of 20 appearances across all competitions, keeping nine clean sheets in the process.

Over the past few months, the Irishman has been linked with a host of different clubs, including the likes of Cheslea, West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Kelleher's future has been a talking point ever since Liverpool agreed a deal to bring in Valencia stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili this summer.

The Georgian is set to become Alisson's challenger heading into the 25/26 season.

Speaking recently, Mamardashvili said: "They are looking at me as the Liverpool goalkeeper for the next ten years. So my next step will be the same as it was in Valencia, that I go and prove myself and show what I can do.

"The main thing is patience, training, and hard work. Everything else will come. I’m not considering another loan. I will spend next season at Liverpool, I think it will be good and training with Alisson will help me grow and gain experience."
