Liverpool will be without SEVEN key players for today's crunch Premier League showdown against rivals Manchester United.

Liverpool have recorded back-to-back wins in the league following their crushing 4-3 defeat against Man United in the FA Cup last month.

They came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1 last weekend before seeing off Sheffield United in midweek, winning 3-1.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking to exact revenge on Erik ten Hag's side after the Red Devils dumped them out of the FA Cup.

But the German boss is set to be without seven first-team players for the Old Trafford clash.

No.1 goalkeeper Alisson is still unavailable due to a hamstring problem, with Caoimhín Kelleher deputising between the sticks.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip, who is set to be out for the rest of the season, are also ruled out.

Midfielders Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago are sidelined, too, while Klopp will also be without the services of Diogo Jota and Ben Doak against Man United.

However, Wataru Endo is expected to be fit, having been rested against Sheff United.

On the Japanese midfielder, who has played 21 league games this season, Klopp said: "That’s my information [that he will be fit].

"We rested him today. We had a feeling there could have been a chance for tonight but if we leave him out then there is a big chance for Sunday. I hope that didn’t change."

Speaking ahead of Liverpool's fixture against Man United, Klopp confirmed that his team came through latest outing without any fresh injury concerns.

"Nobody got injured already as far as I know today," he said. "So, recovery started already and now we recover and go again."

Arsenal climbed above Liverpool to the top of the league following their convincing 3-0 victory against Brighton on Saturday.

But a win over Man United would see the Merseyside outfit return to the top of the league.
