Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a sensational return to management less than a year after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Having felt as though he had no energy left, Klopp stepped down as Liverpool boss after nine successful years at the helm and had an emotional send-off at Anfield against Wolves.

Klopp, who won every trophy available at Liverpool, has been enjoying a break from the strains of management but did take up a position with Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer amongst their many clubs across the globe.

But while it's understood Klopp is in no immediate rush to return to the dug-out, it's reported that some options are opening up for the German.

According to TBR Football, there are three potential jobs which could be of interest to Klopp in the near future.

Journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Klopp's name is being discussed by Real Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti is being strongly linked with the vacant Brazil job.

The Italian, who has won three Champions League titles with Real, has been tipped to manage the Selecao for a while now and speculation has ramped up after they axed Dorival following a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Argentina.

Ancelotti has distanced himself from exit talk but the news has brought doubts about his future. In an interesting twist, Klopp is also a contender for the Brazil job - while Xabi Alonso is understood to be Real's first choice to replace Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabeu after the impressive job he has done at Bayer Leverkusen.

And lastly, links to the USMNT job were persistent for a period after Klopp left Liverpool prior to Mauricio Pochettino being appointed.

However, the Argentine has not had an ideal start to life in the role and Klopp is believed to remain a target in the event that Pochettino's stint comes to an end prematurely.

Klopp has ruled out one job

The former Mainz and Borussia Dortmund boss has already said that because of his love for Liverpool, we will not see him managing in England again.

Proud of the legacy he created on Merseyside, Klopp told Liverpool's official channels that he would "never, ever manage a different club in England”.

Then, he doubled down on the statement in a January press conference - adding: “No other English club, ever. I promise that, even if I have nothing to eat! That won’t happen thanks to LFC by the way. All OK.”
