Jurgen Klopp's final game as Liverpool boss is this weekend - and the departing German has finally joined Instagram and posted his first message.

The 56-year-old joined Liverpool in October 2015 and has gone on to become one of the Merseyside club's most famous bosses.

Klopp takes charge of final game for Liverpool this weekend as his side host Wolves in the last game of the Premier League season.

While the Reds will finish third this campaign, Klopp ended his final season in charge with silverware after Liverpool beat Chelsea in the League Cup final.

Indeed, in his time at Anfield, Klopp has won the Premier League title and the Champions League, as well as the FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Now, the departing manager, whose next job is yet to be confirmed, has joined social media platform Instagram.

And in a two minute final message, that is interspersed with his first press conference at Liverpool and memorable Anfield moments, Klopp addressed Liverpool supporters while explaining why he has now chosen to join Instagram.

He said: "Dear Liverpudlians, we're getting closer to the end.

"On 8 October, 2015, we met for the first time properly. I would call it a love affair.

"The first day, it was an absolutely incredible, incredible time.

"I enjoyed it so much and I want to thank you so much for all the support you gave us over the years.

"All the power you gave us. I wanted always that it feels like we write the story together and that's how it feels today.

"It's a good book and if we read it in the future, we will have a smile on our face.

"Leaving this incredible place is hard, but I want to stay in contact with you.

"Even when I'm not a social media guy, people told me social media helps with that, so here we go.

"See you."
