Liverpool are preparing to make a final offer for the highly-rated England star as they continue to add to their Premier League title-winning squad.

After running away with the 24/25 Premier League in his debut season as manager, Arne Slot has wasted no time adding more firepower to his ranks.

Liverpool have made a huge statement with the record-breaking arrival of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, with Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong also completing early summer moves.

With plenty of arrivals at Anfield, the exit door is also likely to be busy with Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving the club on a controversial free transfer to Real Madrid.

The likes of Luis Diaz and Ibrahim Konate are also linked with moves away with Real Madrid rumoured to be plotting another free transfer swoop for the French defender whose contract expires next summer.

Due to Konate's uncertain future Slot has been desperate to strengthen the centre of his defense and Marc Guehi has been top of the Dutchman's shopping list.

Guehi was a key part of the England side which made the final of Euro 2024 in Germany last summer.

Liverpool to make final Marc Guehi offer

According to TEAMtalk the Crystal Palace defender has already agreed on a five-year contract with an option for an extra year, however, a deal with the London club is proving more difficult.

With Liverpool growing tired of Palace's stance the Sun reports that the club will make a final 'take it or leave it offer' for the 25-year-old in the coming days.

That report claims that a final offer of £40 million will be made, although Newcastle United may attempt to start a bidding war following their interest in Guehi last summer.

Like Konate, Guehi's Palace deal will expire after the 25/26 season which should encourage the FA Cup winners to strike a deal this summer.

Guehi himself reportedly has his ‘heart set on’ a move to Anfield and ‘has always held a big interest in going to Liverpool.'

Arsenal are also interested in the England international alongside long-term admirers Newcastle.
