Liverpool fans have been reacting on social media after watching the first half of their UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint Germain.

On Wednesday night, Arne Slot's men arrived at a hostile Parc des Princes to resume their quest for a seventh Champions League title.

Standing in their way in the round of 16 are PSG, who have found form in recent weeks.

In front of a packed crowd, Luis Enrique's men started on the front foot as they piled immense pressure on Liverpool.

The hosts had a goal disallowed for offside before Alisson Becker made some great saves to keep the scoreline at 0-0.

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate also survived a nervy VAR check after challenging Bradley Barcola when he was through on goal.

Reacting on social media, Liverpool fans were less than happy with Andy Robertson's performance as the Scotsman found it tough against an in-form Ousmane Dembele.

One fan said: "Andy Robertson Is Absolutely Finished Mate, He Looks Like An £8m Full Back From Hull."

Another tweeted: "Andy Robertson has to get off. EMBARRASSING."

A third fan added: "Andy Robertson is completely useless. Diaz too. No pace with him, Jota, and Salah."

Someone else wrote: "ANDY ROBERTSON IS AN EMBARRASSMENT."

A fifth commented: "Andy Robertson in 2025 is just sad to watch."

Another fan said: "Andy Robertson times up."

Speaking on commentary for TNT Sports, Ally McCoist was full of praise for PSG, he said: "What a first half PSG have had. They have been dynamic, powerful, exuberant and skillful."

Thankfully for Liverpool, they managed to keep PSG out as the first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

After Wednesday night's match against the French club, Liverpool will return to Premier League action when they take on Southampton at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to 16 points before Arsenal take on Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
