Liverpool fans are all sharing the same Arne Slot concern just three days into his Anfield reign

Liverpool fans have been sharing the same concern about Arne Slot, three days into his tenure.

On Saturday, Liverpool officially confirmed that Slot has become the club’s new head coach.

A statement read: “Arne Slot today officially begins his role as Liverpool Football Club’s new head coach. The 45-year-old joins the Reds from Feyenoord and takes up the reins following the departure of Jürgen Klopp.

“Slot will begin work with the squad when pre-season gets underway in July, with a three-game trip to the USA as part of the preparations for 2024-25.

“Details of his official unveiling as the club’s head coach will be confirmed via Liverpoolfc.com in due course.”

Just three days into the Slot era, Liverpool fans have been raising the same concern on social media.

The Reds fans have been left wondering why there hasn't been any media content about the club's new boss.

One fan said: “Arne Slot has been in the job 2 days now, and we haven't had any sort of interview or media from the club. I'm really surprised by that.”

Another tweeted: “Is Arne Slot real or have we just appointed a manager who doesn’t do interviews?!”

A third fan added: “So Arne Slot has spoken about the Liverpool job in the Netherlands pressers for weeks and weeks and we haven't had any sort of interview or media from the club still, after some days into his contract. This is weird.”

Someone else wrote: “Have to say I thought there’d be some media coverage of Arne Slot’s first official day as the Liverpool manager, maybe an interview. A stark contrast to when Klopp arrived, very underwhelming.”

A fifth commented: “Still no first Slot interview I think it’s bizarre. Should have been ready to go 1st of June when he officially started.”

Another fan said: “ find it extremely odd Arne Slot started his job 2 days ago and we are yet to see a single interview…”

Although there have been no official word from Slot, Liverpool star Cody Gakpo has spoken about his new boss.

He said to De Telegraaf: “I have not spoken to him before… [but] I do know that he has always made it very difficult for us at PSV and is known as a very good trainer, of course.”
