Former Premier League striker Glenn Murray has been extremely complimentary about 20-year-old Liverpool wonderkid and has already predicted he will go on to be a club legend.

Murray played 148 times in the Premier League, scoring 37 times including 26 for Brighton, where he finished his top-flight career.

The 40-year-old former striker was on BBC Match of the Day 2 analysing the thrilling clash between his former side and league leaders Liverpool.

The match started with a bang as Danny Welbeck opened the scoring in the second minute, but as it has been proven many times scoring early at Anfield is no guarantee of points as Liverpool came back to win 2-1.

Jurgen Klopp's victory takes his side to the top of the league table by two points following the draw between Man City and Arsenal, putting them in pole position for their second-ever Premier League title.

One of the key absentees from the Liverpool XI was Trent Alexander-Arnold who was again missing from the side, but Murray was extremely impressed with Conor Bradley who again deputised for the English defender.

Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Murray praised the youngster's mentality and maturity at such a young age.

“Very good from Conor Bradley. He realises what he was doing wrong. He becomes aggressive. He steps in all of a sudden," The former Brighton man said.

The 20-year-old has impressed every time he's got the opportunity this season, and Murray made a bold claim about how far the Northern Ireland international can go.

“Again here, he has the nous to understand what he was doing wrong. This is all after the 30th minute. He was outstanding. He is going to be one of the Liverpool greats, I think, if he continues," Murray claimed.

Bradley has now made seven appearances in the league for the reds and has managed a rather impressive one goal and three assists in that short run of games.
