Lionel Messi jokingly called out a streamer following his Ballon d'Or success last night.

Messi won an unprecedented eighth Ballon d'Or award at Monday's event in Paris.

He beat Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe to land the prestigious individual prize.

After collecting yet another Ballon d'Or award, the Inter Miami superstar spoke to Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos.

But the conversation turned for the worse when the 36-year-old slammed the well-known influencer for sharing their text messages during a previous stream. Check it out below:

Messi is quoted to have said: "Ibai, I'm mad at you. I didn't like that you showed our messages to the public. You have no privacy."

Ibai replied: "But Leo, I blurred it out. It didn't show."

Messi: "So what? You didn't show it but you said exactly what it said. I don't like it. Next time I won't answer. I'm leaving you on read."

Ibai: "So what does it feel to win the eighth Ballon D'or?" To which Messi ruthlessly replied before laughing: "The Ballon d’Or? Now you are changing the topic you son of a b*tch."

Ibai wasn't the only social media influencer who garnered attention from the Ballon d'Or ceremony as iShowSpeed produced a bizarre reaction to Messi being crowned the Ballon d'Or winner.

He cut a shocked reaction when the star forward's name was read out, before saying: "Messi, man. Ain't no way, man. Not Ronaldo?"

Messi has now bagged eight Ballon d'Or awards in his legendary career, moving three clear of rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
