Lauren James settled the Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate but named a Chelsea legend over both superstar players.
Messi and Ronaldo have enjoyed stunning, trophy-laden careers and are still going strong at Inter Miami and Al Nassr respectively.
They have Champions League titles and Ballon d'Or awards to their names as well as international honours, with the Argentine international winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Chelsea women's star James is the latest player to weigh in on football's age-old question, but she named ANOTHER player over Messi and Ronaldo.
For a segment on Sky Sports, Karen Carney asked her: "Messi or Ronaldo?" To which James replied by saying: "Messi."
Carney then asked: "Now Messi or Hazard? Cause I know you like Hazard."
The forward wasted no time in picking Eden Hazard, immediately siding with the former Chelsea man.

He helped the Blues win two Premier League titles and two Europa League trophies as well as the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
The Belgium lit up the Premier League with his brilliant dribbling and will go down as one of the most exciting players to have ever graced England's top flight.
Despite leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid, he's clearly still fondly remembered with everyone associated at the club.
