Fans are adamant that Barcelona star Lamine Yamal mocked Kylian Mbappe after scoring against Real Madrid.

Barcelona were in fine form inside the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu as Robert Lewandowski scored a brace before goals from Yamal and Raphinha completed a famous 4-0 win for Hansi Flick’s men.

As a result, Barcelona are now six points clear of Madrid at the top of the La Liga table.

It was a horrible night for Madrid star man Mbappe after he had two goals ruled out for offside.

After scoring his first offside goal, the Frenchman brought out the ‘calma’ celebration but was then left disappointed by VAR.

When Yamal made it 3-0, it was spotted by fans that the youngster also celebrated by bringing out the ‘calma’.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Let's talk about the ridiculousness of Mbappé celebrating like Cristiano so that it is disallowed and ends up being scored on by Lamine Yamal and celebrating in his face asking for calm.”

Another tweeted: “Lamine Yamal is Kylian Mbappe's nightmare.”

A third fan added: “Mbappe hitting the calma thinking he was going to win it.”

Someone else wrote: “Yamal has mugged Mbappe there with the calma celeb lol.”

Speaking after the match, a jubilant Flick said: “Everyone followed the plan we'd designed and gave 100%.

“We knew how to defend well and stuck to our ideas even though Madrid didn't allow us very much space. In the second half, we had a lot more control of the ball, but the whole team did an extraordinary job.”

The German added: “I am proud of this team.

“Because we also managed to keep a clean sheet with a great contribution by Iñaki Peña ... And the fans also deserve this win. They have an amazing connection with the players. I am happy to work for FC Barcelona.”

Things did get ugly between the two benches after the final whistle, with Carlo Ancelotti saying: “Something happened with the assistant coach, not with Flick. He was not a gentleman when celebrating in front of the bench. I told Flick and he agreed.”
