Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has revealed a furious tunnel altercation with Jurgen Klopp, recalling a moment he told him to 'f**k off'.
Clattenburg is a former member of the Premier League and used to officiate games in England's top flight during his refereeing career.
He refereed several high-profile matches, including the 2016 Champions League final and the Euro 2016 final.
The Englishman has also taken charge of a number of Real Madrid fixtures, including their Champions League semi-final victory over Borussia Dortmund in 2014.

At the time, Klopp was in charge of Dortmund and was livid with the result - and even more so after seeing what Clattenburg did following the tie, resulting in a fiery exchange.
Klopp saw Clattenburg take a picture with Marcelo and subsequently blamed the referee for the defeat.

According to Clattenburg, he told the German to 'f**k off' after Klopp made a remark regarding his photo with Marcelo.

"It was the wrong time [for Marcelo to ask for a photo after the game]. Klopp's walked past, probably humped that he's got beat 3-0, but he shouldn't have the gripe about me. He should be having the gripe about his team performance, because I wasn't the architect of the defeat," he told GOAL, recalling his incident with Klopp.
"As he's come past, he's said: 'That's why we got beat 3-0', and I thought: 'F**k that, he's going to get Geordie banter back'. No, I'm not accepting that. I'm in the Bernabeu, I'm not stupid, I've got the protection of f**king everybody around and he was on his own.
"I turned around, and I said: 'You should be f**king thankful you got beat 3-0, so f**k off'.
"Everybody laughed. I was p*ssed off, that he had the f**king... he thought I was the architect of him getting f**king beat.

"There's right times and wrong times to speak... why did Klopp think it was f**king acceptable to f**king say that."
Clattenburg and Klopp renewed hostilities when the latter was appointed at Liverpool.
