Jose Mourinho could be set for a shock managerial move as a four-man shortlist has been revealed for one of the biggest jobs in world football.

Mourinho has enjoyed a legendary managerial career, having had jobs in several leagues across Europe.

He made his name at Porto, where he won the Champions League, before securing a move to England in the shape of Chelsea.

Mourinho won two Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge before winning a third when he returned for a second spell.

The Portuguese has also had success in Italy and Spain, winning league titles with Inter Milan and Real Madrid respectively.

He also delivered a Champions League for Inter.

But, as of yet, the former Manchester United and Tottenham gaffer has yet to take an international job. However, that could change.

That's because Mourinho is among the candidates for the Brazil job.

According to Globo, the Brazil Football Confederation are looking at Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Jorge Jesus and Abel Ferreira.

As a Portuguese speaker, Brazil could be an ideal fit for the 62-year-old, who is currently in charge of Fenerbahce following his appointment last summer.

After he was let go by AS Roma, Steve Sidwell, who was signed by Mourinho at Chelsea, backed his old manager to move into international management.

"There’s a lot of talk about a national coaching role, as a manager for one of the countries," he said.

"I think he’s still got the hunger and passion, the desire for more trophies. He’s a born winner but I could see him dipping into national management.

"I think the day-to-day suits him, that’s where he comes alive in sessions. The clipboard comes out, it’s always enjoyable. That hunger, that desire, burn that he’s got to do that day in, day out.

"I’m sure he’s got offers but I think he might try something new and he’s not getting any younger, so I think he could go in that direction."
