Jordan Henderson completely lost his head and was held back by his teammates following Brentford's 0-0 draw with Bournemouth.
During a dramatic night of Premier League action across England, Brentford travelled the the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth in the earliest kick off of the evening.
The hosts were on top for most of the game, but failed to make the most of their chances, with the match finishing as a goalless draw, extending Bournemouth's unbeaten run to nine Premier League matches.
However, the biggest drama didn't happen during the match itself, but instead came after the whistle as Brentford's Henderson was involved in a heated altercation with Bournemouth staff.

Following the match ending, staff members and players approached each other to shake hands, but something clearly upset the former Liverpool captain.

The England international was spotted being held back by teammates and staff, including Brentford manager Keith Andrews, as he appeared to be arguing with Bournemouth coaches Tommy Elphick and Shaun Cooper.
Eventually, Henderson was pulled away from the pair, but he wasn't the only man annoyed at them as a Brentford coach was also seen pointing at the Bournemouth duo.
Andrews also appeared to be angrier, but decided to instead play peacemaker alongside his counterpart in Fulham boss Andoni Iraola.
Speaking post-match, the Brentford boss claimed that had 'no idea' what caused the scrap, while Iraola suggested it was a disagreement between Henderson and Cooper.
Meanwhile Henderson remained tight-lipped, saying post-match: "I thought it was a good game. Maybe both will be disappointed they didn't win the game.
"Overall we felt comfortable but they had decent chances, they hit the post and had a goal disallowed. I still felt we had our moments. So maybe a draw was a fair result in the end."
In their next fixture, Brentford face West Ham United at London Stadium on 9 March for a place in the sixth round of the FA Cup.
Meanwhile Bournemouth, having already been knocked out of the FA Cup, will enjoy a weekend off before travelling to Turf Moor for a Premier League clash with Burnley on 14 March.
