Harry Kane and Thomas Tuchel have met for the first time after the England captain sealed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich.

Over the last few weeks, German Bundesliga champions Bayern have been trying their hardest to reach an agreement with Spurs to sign Kane.

The two sides eventually agreed on a fee on Thursday and Kane was confirmed as a Bayern player on Saturday morning.

It has been reported that the deal that took Kane from Spurs to Bayern is reportedly worth over €100 million.

Ahead of his potential debut against RB Leipzig in the DFL Supercup, Kane met new boss Tuchel for the first time. You can watch the footage below.

Tuchel was heard saying: “He’s here! You made it, I cannot believe it. Finally!”

Kane was heard replying: “I made it. I made it.”

The England international has been named on the bench for the match against Leipzig.

Upon signing for Bayern, Kane said an emotional goodbye to the Spurs fans.

He said: “Hi everyone, I wanted to be the first to tell you Tottenham fans that I will be leaving the club today [Saturday].

“Obviously a lot of emotions going through me right now. Sad to be leaving the club I have spent nearly 20 years of my life at.”

Kane continued: “From an 11-year-old boy to a 30-year-old man now there's been so many great moments and special memories, memories that I'll cherish forever.”

On joining Bayern, he said: “I'm very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now.

“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I've always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career. This club is defined by its winning mentality - it feels very good to be here.”
