Gary Lineker's apparent net worth has been revealed, with the former Match of the Day host set to join BBC's rivals, ITV.
Back in May, it was confirmed that Lineker would leave the BBC after a 26-year stint in which he often fronted the broadcaster's football coverage.
Lineker had previously confirmed he was stepping down from his Match of the Day hosting role at the end of the 24/25 season, but left the BBC altogether despite being pencilled in to host the 2026 World Cup in North America.
The former England striker's exit came after he reposted a video about Zionism - the movement to create a Jewish state in the Middle East - from an account called 'Palestine Lobby', which he later apologised for.

The video included a cartoon illustration of a rat, a term used in Nazi Germany as a slur against Jewish people.
Just over two months after leaving the BBC, Lineker has reportedly landed a new job at rivals ITV.
As reported by The Sun, the 64-year-old is set to host a new game show called The Box.

ITV's new programme has been described as a cross between I'm A Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Win.
It will see 12 celebrities put in boxes and given a range of different challenges.
A source told the publication: "The Box is massive in Norway, and the rights were quickly sold to Denmark and now the UK. ITV are really excited about it - and believe they have finally found a worthy successor to Saturday Night Takeaway.
"They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. They’re confident they’ve found that now, and the BBC’s loss is their gain."

Following a successful career on the pitch, Lineker continued to make big money after diving into the world of media.
During his time at the BBC, Lineker was often one of the highest-earning presenters as he anchored the iconic Match of the Day.

Back in March 2025, Manchester Evening News claimed that Lineker has a net worth of £30 million.
The report stated: "It's understood that Lineker has a net worth of £30million, a substantial chunk of which is derived from his BBC salary.
"The BBC's accounts for 2023-2024 reveal that Lineker's earnings were around £1.35m."
