Eden Hazard has been offered a trial at a Premier League club just days after his shock retirement.

Hazard called time on his legendary career, aged 32, as he took to social media to share an emotional message.

Jose Mourinho predicted his retirement eight years ago when the pair worked together at Stamford Bridge.

He failed to get going at Real Madrid following his move from Chelsea - one tackle caused him major issues in Spain.

Despite Hazard walking away from football, Kevin Nolan isn't convinced the 32-year-old will stay retired.

He's backed the former superstar forward to make a U-turn on his retirement, even offering him a trial at West Ham United.

Nolan, who is a coach at West Ham, told talkSPORT: "I’d have the Hazard of Chelsea at West Ham. "I’m sure if he wanted to come and trial we’d, I mean, I’d certainly be willing to. I don’t know about the gaffer [David Moyes]. But I’d certainly want to trial him!

"Some of the best years in the Premier League, he’s been part of and some of the best goals."

Nolan has backed Hazard to reverse his decision, adding: "It’s sad that at 32 he’s decided to bow out in all honesty because I believe someone of his calibre of play could play at the top level for plenty more years.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a little bit of a reverse on that in the next six months to a year.

"I just think at 32, he’s just put out that he’s retired. There’s been so many times, I remember when [Paul] Scholes done it. Then he got a phone call from Sir Alex [Ferguson] and he was like 'oh yeah, I will come back'.

"I just think something like that could happen with Hazard because someone is probably willing to give him the opportunity to say 'go on, come in and play for us for six months'."

The Belgium spent four seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu before his contract was mutually terminated.

That preceded a stunning seven-year spell at Chelsea, where he scored an impressive 110 goals as he helped the Blues win two Premier League titles and two Europa Leagues during his time at the club.

Will he come out of retirement? Watch this space.
