Top 25 highest-rated men's players in EA FC 25 officially confirmed

The top 25 highest-rated players in EA Sports FC 25 have been officially confirmed ahead of the release of the game later this month.

The latest edition of the world's most popular football game will be released to the general public on September 27.

However, gamers who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will be able to get their hands on the game a week earlier, on September 20.

With the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo era of football drawing to an end, there is huge interest in which players will be given the highest rating in the new game.

In last year's edition, three players were tied for top spot; Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne – who were all given an initial rating of 91.

But there is a different look to the ratings this year, with EA Sports confirming that Rodri has replaced his Manchester City teammate De Bruyne in the top three.

This year, Real Madrid star Mbappe and City duo Haaland and Rodri have been awarded the top overall ranking of 91.

They are closely followed by two more Madrid players – Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr – who have been rated 90, as have De Bruyne and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.

Next on the list is Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard (89), who has been given the same rating as Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson and PSG shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Five other players have also been given a rating of 89; Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

There are then ten players with a rating of 88, including Inter Miami star Messi – who was the joint-fourth best men's player in last year's game with a rating 90.

Four City players have also been rated 88 this year; Ederson, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Ruben Dias.

Real Madrid pair Federico Valverde and Antonio Rudiger have been given the same ranking, as have Atletico Madrid pair Jan Oblak and Antoine Griezmann - with Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski rounding off the top 25.

Once the highest-rated player in the game, Al Nassr star Ronaldo is expected to have a rating of 86 in the 2025 edition.
