Cristiano Ronaldo has picked out the player who reminds him of Real Madrid and France legend Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo, 39, will forever be remembered as one of the greatest players to ever play the game, having played for the likes of Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus and Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Currently, the Portuguese legend plays in the Middle East, for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

Speaking previously in an interview, Ronaldo was asked about current Madrid star Jude Bellingham and the 39-year-old spoke about his similarities to Zidane.

He said: "He has a big future ahead of him and will give a lot to Madrid.

During what was truly a stellar career, Frenchman Zidane represented clubs like Madrid, Cannes, Bordeaux and Juventus, making a total of 695 appearances across all competitions, scoring 125 goals.

After hanging up his boots, Zidane had two spells managing Madrid, winning three UEFA Champions League titles among other trophies.

Meanwhile, Englishman Bellingham joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2023 after leaving German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

Since then, Bellingham, wearing the no.5 shirt Zidane wore during his time playing for the Spanish giants, has developed into one of the world's best players and finished third in the 2024 Ballon d'Or standings behind winner Rodri and runner-up Vinicius Jr.

So far, the young midfielder has scored 33 goals in 73 matches for Madrid across all competitions. This season, Bellingham has a total of 10 goals and 10 assists in 30 appearances.

Carlo Ancelotti's men are back in action on Wednesday night when thay take on Leganes in the quarter-final of the Copa del Rey.
