Al Nassr have signed Cristiano Ronaldo's son, according to stunning reports.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr following the mutual termination of his Manchester United contract.

His move to Saudi Arabia prompted a host of other top stars to swap Europe for the Middle East, with the likes of Karim Benzema, Neymar and Riyad Mahrez also making the switch.

The PIF-backed clubs Al Ittihad, Al Hilal and Al Ahli have recruited heavily, with Al Nassr boasting the 38-year-old as well as the superstar forward's son.

That's according to Arriyadiyah, who claim Al Nassr have snapped up Cristiano Ronaldo Jr in a major coup.

What's more, the report states the 13-year-old has been handed the iconic No.7 shirt - the same shirt number as his father for Al Nassr.

Ronaldo Jr will start training in the coming days.

Ronaldo will be reunited with his son, with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner telling Al Nassr that he would like to sign a contract extension through to 2027, when he will be in his early forties.

A potential extension would allow him to figure for Portugal at another World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026.

When asked about his international future, the Portuguese said, via Record: “I always have something to prove, when we have nothing to prove it is a sign that we are dead for life.

“Every year I always have something to prove. Proving that I can set an example of longevity, at 38-and-a-half years old I think I'll still do very interesting things.

"What? Goals, assists, good preparation in the Selection, having a good qualifying phase, a good European Championship and continuing to do what I've done in my 21-year career.

“I'll continue to enjoy it the same way. I still feel useful and good. It's continuing to enjoy football, which is what I like most.”
