Roberto Carlos plays two-touch with fan on holiday, he's still got it

Roberto Carlos plays two-touch with fan on holiday, he's still got it

Roberto Carlos has been filmed playing two-touch with a fan and he's definitely not lost it.

Roberto Carlos has proved he hasn't lost it by showing off his skills in a fine game of two-touch with a fan.

Carlos retired in 2015 but regularly turns up at Soccer Aid each year and though his fitness isn't quite up to it these days, his technical ability is definitely still there.

A video has been shared of the Brazilian legend having a kickabout with Christian Stott in what looks like a holiday resort.

With the pool in the background, Stott, who plays academy football in Portugal, passed the Champions League ball to him and the two began busting out some serious skills while keeping it in the air.

Stott admitted in his caption that he was "bricking it" but he gave a solid account of himself. Carlos didn't even break a sweat, with every touch near-perfect.

He finished up with a glorious bit of skill to flick the ball down and knock it back to Christian. He described Carlos a "nice and humble guy" and plenty of fans were loving the video.

One said: "Went from playing 2 touch with Zidane and Beckham to play it with Christian, what an upgrade."

A second commented: "A holiday to remember."

A third wrote: "This is crazy."

A fourth added: "That is so sick, imagine being able to tell your children you played a game of two touch with one of the best left backs of all time."

Carlos has won both the World Cup and Champions League but he truly completed football in February 2022 when he made his Sunday League debut.

He took to the mucky pitch at sports village in Shrewsbury to make his Sunday League debut for Bull in the Barne United, who won a competition for him to play.

Although he disappeared at one point to have a massage while the game was going on, Carlos scored a penalty in a 4-3 defeat in what was his first game for an English team.

"To get to the Bernabeu I had to play on pitches like this when I was younger,” he told SPORTbible afterwards.

“The ball is round everywhere. It’s completely normal when you play grassroots football, that’s how you play.

“It brought back some memories from the past when I used to play. They [the team] have quality. Tactically it’s not like the pros but the most important thing is that they enjoyed themselves. It was a great day.

“I’ve never played in an English team before, now I have! I only played a little but I played.”
