Champions League's Top 10 Fastest Players Revealed Including Two Liverpool Stars

The fastest players in this season's Champions League campaign have been named and ranked.

A report has revealed the fastest players in the Champions League this season, with a star forward reaching a stunning top speed of 36.2km/h.

Every team would have played three games in this season's Champions League campaign at the end of Wednesday's matchday, which includes Real Madrid vs. Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Liverpool and Bayern Munich vs. Club Brugge.

Holders Paris Saint-Germain have won their opening three matches, including a thumping 7-2 victory of Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal and Inter Milan have also won three games in a row, with the Gunners sending a statement to their rivals following their 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Some of the best players in the world have been on display, including several speed demons who have lit up this season's Champions League.

The fastest players in the Champions League

The likes of Mohamed Salah and Pedro Neto have registered impressive speeds so far in the Champions League.

But the Liverpool legend and the Chelsea winger don't crack the top five despite their best efforts.

Salah is joined by three other players at tenth, including Mason Greenwood, Lloyd Kelly and Timothy Weah. They have all clocked a speed of 34.3km/h this season.

Nuno Mendes has hit speeds of 34.4km/h on the left wing.

Tottenham's Djed Spence has recorded a top speed of 34.9km/h, with both Bradley Barcola and Raoul Bellanova recording a speed of 35km/h.

Karim Adeyemi has clocked a top speed of 35.4km/h.

Jeremie Frimpong joins Liverpool teammate Salah in the list of the fastest players, having produced a top speed of 35.6km/h.

36-year-old Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has registered an impressive top speed of 35.8km/h.

The fastest player in this season's Champions League so far is none other than Lois Openda, who has reached a top speed of 36.2km/h.
