There is a new Champions League broadcaster this year and their list of pundits and commentators is brimming with star power.

TNT Sports, previously BT Sport, have hosted Champions League coverage in the United Kingdom since 2015.

They had exclusive rights to the Champions League but that has all changed for the upcoming competition.

The BBC will be showing highlights of the competition through a Wednesday Match of the Day episode and Amazon Prime also have 17 first-pick Champions League matches on Tuesday nights.

This arrangement will be in place between 2024 and 2027 for the new revamped format.

Amazon's coverage will be included in the Prime membership and the broadcaster announced their Champions League talent on Monday.

Their all-star punditry line up includes four-time Champions League winner Clarence Seedorf, Daniel Sturridge, Frank Lampard, Gael Clichy, Josie Henning and Laura Georges.

Jon Champion and Alan Shearer will be the go-to commentary pairing for the big Tuesday night clash, with Gabriel Clarke one of two pitchside reporters at the ground.

Amazon will start proceedings from the play-off round on Tuesday 20 August, right up until the semi finals in May.

"Our UEFA Champions League coverage in the UK will build on the features and on-air team that football fans have enjoyed across our football coverage on Prime since 2019,” Alex Green, Prime Video sport Managing Director said in a press release.

“We are adding exciting new faces and innovations that will join our best-in-class streaming technology to deliver an all-round great experience for football fans, befitting this prestigious competition.”

Additional features include the ability to watch all other matches through the Discovery+ add-on subscription, a new 'Rapid Recap', a new 'Key Moments' navigation bar, Low-latency technology, and coverage of the premier Tuesday fixture being in High Dynamic Range colour for those that have access.
