Celtic secured the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Hearts; however, as the third goal hit the net, Parkhead descended into chaos as fans flooded the pitch, and now one Jambos star has claimed his teammate left the pitch bloodied.
Martin O’Neill guided his team to the title, and the joy inside Celtic Park for their fans was clear to see as they made their way onto the pitch to celebrate their victory as Callum Osmand’s goal in the 97th minute hit the net.
Yet, it was also noticeable that several of the fans that made their way onto the pitch amongst the celebrations appeared to target the Hearts players, and they had to be ushered down the tunnel amid concerns for their safety.

The Edinburgh-based side have now claimed that players and staff have reported serious physical and verbal abuse following the scenes, and the club have since released a statement about the incident.
Now, Christian Borchgrevink, who was an unused sub in Glasgow at the weekend, is the first Hearts star to speak out about the post-game mayhem.
Speaking to Norwegian media, as quoted by the Scottish Herald, Borchgrevink said: "It was complete chaos. Before we had time to gather our wits, we saw that some of our key players were being surrounded. It was hard to take in everything that was happening.
"People were getting worried. I was on the bench, and we ran out to shield the others. Everyone eventually made it back in unharmed, though with a bit of blood here and there.
"At that point, we didn’t even know if the match had been called for full time yet, and we were escorted off.
"Only then were we told the match was over, and by then it was just a matter of getting away and onto the bus quickly.

"We haven’t had a chance to take stock yet. Everyone was fine, and then it was a matter of checking on family and supporters, and they’re all fine too, as far as I know. So we’ve been standing here trying to take stock.”
Hearts had been top of the Scottish Premiership for over 250 days, but this defeat to Celtic ensured they would not get their hands on the trophy, which will have broken the hearts of the club’s fans and players.
Borchgrevink only made five appearances for Derek McInnes’ side this campaign, but he admitted how much it hurt to lose the title in this manner.
He said: “First and foremost, it’s brutal that we were in the lead for so long and lost it at the finish line. And that’s what we’re left with now.”
