A top presenter who visited all 92 football stadiums in England has finally settled the debate over which is the best home ground in the country.

While football fans across the country love watching their teams competing each week while in the comfort of their homes, nothing quite lives up to seeing your side playing in person at their own ground.

Back in September, Durham finally ticked off the last stadium across the English pyramid that he had yet to visit as he visited Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium for their 2-2 draw with Morecambe.

Having now been to all 92 home grounds, the 55-year-old had no doubts when asked to name which was the best, and his answer may surprise you.

"I went to QPR v Crystal Palace in the League Cup and it reminded me how much I loved it," began the 55-year-old as he declared Loftus Road his favourite.

"It's in the middle of a housing estate in London. The corners are filled in, it's tight to the pitch.

"I just absolutely love it. It's another one where the atmosphere, when they're doing well, is fantastic.

"That's how a ground should be, right in the middle of a residential area. I love it."

Queens Park Rangers have played their home games at Loftus Road for over a century having moved in to the stadium in 1917.

Durham's second favourite is an ground that often makes it's way onto the shortlist for must-visit football grounds thanks to the intense atmosphere created by diehard fans for the entire 90 minutes.

"I lived and worked in Leeds so I went quite a lot and looking at parts of the outside of it, I would say you're taken back to the 70s because it feels like nothing's changed," added the talkSPORT regular.

"So you're back there with Don Revie and Billy Bremner and all that.

"I think it's got a wonderful nostalgic charm and there's a history there and it's a one-club city.

"In terms of match atmosphere, Leeds are no.1."
