Fans have been reacting on social media after seeing who finished in 30th-11th place in the 2025 Ballon d'Or.
On Monday night, all eyes are fixated on the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France, as the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner is set to be announced.
Ahead of the ceremony, France Football had already started counting down the standings.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk finished in 28th place, with fans branding the decision a joke.

Further up the standings, Barcelona and Spain star Pedri was voted in 11th place.
Taking to social media, fans were also left unimpressed by Pedri's position.
One fan said: "It's a disgrace what they just did, a crime against world football. France Football, ask for forgiveness on your knees."
Another tweeted: "There’s no way they’re ranking Cole Palmer ahead of Pedri, again SHAME!!"
A third fan added: "WHAT?! Definitely deserved a top 3 spot!"
Someone else wrote: "Cole Palmer over Pedri is a choice lmao."
A fifth commented: "This is uncalled for!!!! Pedri should be in top 5!!!"
