Arsenal fan comes up with incredible thread of decisions that have gone against them

An Arsenal fan has posted clips of decisions which have gone against them in recent times.

An Arsenal fan has created a thread of decisions which they believe have gone against them in recent seasons.

Manager Mikel Arteta let rip in both his post-match interview and press conference after Arsenal suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Newcastle on Saturday.

Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game but only after three separate VAR checks - one for whether the ball was out of play, one for a possible foul and another for a suspicion of offside.

Arteta branded the decision to give the goal a "disgrace" and the club backed up his comments with a statement where they said there were on the receiving end of "unacceptable refereeing and VAR errors".

And one Arsenal supporter has pointed all those mistakes on X. @Gooner_Eurychus started with screenshots from the winning goal on Saturday, as well as a controversial penalty call against Wolves a few years back.

The fan then turned their attention to Brentford's equaliser at the Emirates last year, a goal which resulted in VAR official Lee Mason leaving PGMOL via mutual consent having missed Christian Norgaard being offside.

There was also focus on the loss to Manchester City in the 2021/22 season, including two penalty calls which did not go in their favour.

Attention turned back to the match at St James' Park, with the fan adamant that Bruno Guimaraes should have been sent off.

But other controversies such as Bukayo Saka's goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford being chalked off for a foul also got a mention.

There were also two penalty shouts for Nicolas Pepe against Sheffield United and Burnley which he did not get, in addition to "encroachment" from Watford prior to a goal in a 2-2 draw in the 2029/20 season.

The thread has gone viral on social media and no doubt added to the fury Arsenal fans are feeling at the moment.

Arsenal return to action on Wednesday and will look to get back to winning ways against Sevilla in the Champions League.
