Fans are losing their minds over footage of 15-year-old wonderkid during Man Utd's win over Arsenal in FA Youth Cup

Arsenal fans have been reacting on social media after watching their youngsters play in the FA Youth Cup against Manchester United.

On Friday night, Arsenal's U18s took on United's U18s in the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup at the Emirates Stadium.

The young Red Devils came out victorious after 120 minutes of action to win 3-2 and seal their place in the last four.

Despite losing the match, Gunners fans were left impressed with the performance of Max Dowman.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: "Max Dowman is NOT REAL! An absurd run, picking it up in his own third and winning a penatly, while taking on the entire Manchester United team. Dowman steps up and converts from the spot."

Another tweeted: "Max Dowman with an unbelievable line breaking pass into Ceadach O'Neill."

A third fan added: "Yooooo what have we spawned from Hale End … Max Dowman is a generational talent."

Someone else wrote: "Max Dowman with an incredible carry, before winning and converting a penalty."

A fifth commented: "This kid is a future star."

Another fan said: "Max Dowman, remember the name everyone."

If Dowman continues to impress, don't be surprised to see him in and around Mikel Arteta's first team squad in the near future.

Arsenal's first team suffered another blow in their bid to overhaul Liverpool in the Premier League title race this week after they were held to a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

As a result of Arsenal's draw and Liverpool's 2-0 win over Newcastle United, Arne Slot's men now hold a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal, though, do have one game in hand and could close the gap to 10 points if they manage to win.

The Gunners are back in action on Tuesday night when they take on Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League.
