The Moment A Dog Invades Football Pitch And Steals Boot

The Bolivian top division doesn't hit the UK headlines very often, but it has managed to do so this week thanks to one excellent debut performance.
The excellently named The Strongest defeated Nacional Potosi 3-0 away from home on Christmas Eve, giving fans a early Christmas present with the comprehensive win.
However, it was one cameo that caught the eye, with a dog running onto the pitch with a boot it had daringly stolen moments before.

The pooch could have been protesting home side Nacional Potosi's lack of bite in midfield, as they went down to The Strongest without as much as a bark.
After a few minutes - and a quick scratch and cuddle - the dog was removed from the pitch and the game could continue.
It's unknown whether any other clubs took notice of the performance, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may want to take a look in an effort to add some extra energy to his side.
The Premier League has seen similar incidents in the past, with Everton fans seeing cat invasions more than once at Goodison Park.
A black cat crosses the pitch at Goodison Park in Liverpool, north-west England, stopping play during the Premier League football match between Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

With supporters unable to attend matches in the majority of the UK, it could be that animals have a better chance of getting to watch games than humans for the time being.
