Barcelona have placed 12 players on the transfer list as they plan a huge summer clear-out.

The Catalan giants are attempting to gather funds to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez who is deemed a high priority target.

As a result, Marca per Sportsmole have reported that a slew of players have been told their future lies away from the Nou Camp.

Among the players are number two goalkeeper Neto as well as defenders Nelson Semedo, Junior Firpo, Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Players available from midfield include Arturo Vidal, Carles Alena, Rafinha and Ivan Rakitic while attackers Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite and Philippe Coutinho are also surplus to requirements.

Of the twelve players, four of them [Todibo, Alena, Rafinha and Coutinho] have spent parts of this season on loan.

Semedo has been linked with moves to Inter and Manchester City while Dembele's injury issues have mounted.

Braithwaite joined from Leganes back in February as an emergency signing after injury to Luis Suarez, with many not seeing a long-term future for the Danish international.

Brazilian midfielder Arthur has already agreed a transfer to Juventus, in a deal which will see Miralem Pjanic move the opposite way.

Meanwhile, the club see Martinez as a successor to Suarez and someone who can lead Barcelona into the future.

A move will prove costly however and Mundo Deportivo have claimed a transfer will only be possible if Barca win the Champions League.

Their Champions League campaign resumes on August 8 against Napoli and the tie is currently 1-1 after a draw in Naples back in February.

Lionel Messi has stressed that the team must improve if they want to advance after a run of poor performances post-lockdown.

"I said it some time ago, that playing like this we had no chance of winning the Champions League, and it turns out we didn't even have enough to win La Liga," the Argentine explained.

"We need to take a breather, let some air in, and clean out minds of all that has happened since December.

"Playing like this we will lose against Napoli.

"We have to start from zero in the Champions League and blame ourselves for what went wrong."

Which of these Barcelona players would you take at your club?
