Tottenham Hotspurs' New Stadium Looks Like A Toilet Seat And The Reaction Has Been Wild

Tottenham Hotspurs' New Stadium Looks Like A Toilet Seat And The Reaction Has Been Wild

Tottenham Hotspurs should be looking forward to their first season in their brand new stadium - but the arena has received a pretty poor - if a little bit embarrassing - comparison.

Spurs spent a season playing at Wembley as this new one was being built. It's been widely anticipated by supporters, not least because of the amount of coverage Spurs had before the last season kicked off, about whether Wembley would be the right fit for the team, given the size of its pitch.

But now the results are in, the stadium is up and Spurs fans can't wait to catch their first glimpse of it.

The Spurs social media team, in keeping with the hype around the new stadium, posted some birds-eye snaps of the arena from above.

But the reaction wasn't one they would've hoped for. Many supporters have all said that the stadium looks like a toilet seat, surely not the look that Spurs had in mind when they were thinking-up the stadium.

Some of the reaction has been great, so it was worth it for that.
