German international Toni Kroos amazingly has worn the same model of football boots for over four years.

The 28-year-old wears Adidas Adipure 11pro 2013/2014 and has done since he was playing for Bayern Munich.

Remarkably, the German sportswear company does not produce the boots anymore, and so Kroos convinced them to make special editions.

They have worked well for Kroos so far, his brilliant game-winning free-kick last night evidence of that. The Real Madrid midfielder scored a late goal and earned Germany a crucial three points in their group stage World Cup game against Sweden.

Kroos made the move from Bundesliga giants Munich to Spanish outfit Madrid in 2014 for a fee reported to be between €24 and €30 million and he's been a pivotal member of the squad ever since.

And his wearing of the Adidas boots have seen calls for them to make a return to the production line.

Over to you, Adidas.
