The Welshman has begun to turn his second stint at Spurs around and scored twice in a 4-1 win on Sunday evening.

Bale is on loan from Real Madrid and has now registered 10 goals this season - the same amount as 'Los Blancos' forwards Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard.

Harry Kane stole the highlights for his curling effort from outside the box, but Bale tormented Palace's defence all evening.

Coming off the right wing, the 32-year-old had the beating of Patrick van Aanholt with both of his goals being assisted by Kane.

He was replaced by Erik Lamela in the 68th minute and received huge praise from manager Jose Mourinho.

Fans have reacted to Bale's performance and they think he's showing the form that made him one of the Premier League's most feared forwards.

Bale spoke to Sky Sports News and was quick to shower praise on attack partner Kane, labelling the England captain as 'incredible'.

Per HITC he explained: "He's an incredible striker. He showed again tonight and he has been so consistent, so a fantastic performance again from him. We are lucky to have him here.

"No, Sonny [Son Heung-min] is fine. Obviously, all of us want to score but we all know the most important thing is we score for the team to help the team get three points and we keep moving on."
