Romelu Lukaku preserved Belgium's lead against England in the UEFA Nations League by clearing a Harry Kane header off the line.

Belgium had gone ahead early in the first half through Youri Tielemans and the Three Lions immediately went for an equaliser.

Kieran Trippier whipped in a corner and Kane's header was on target.

The header had beaten Thibaut Courtois but Inter Milan forward Lukaku was alert enough to head it over.

Fans have reacted to Lukaku's performance so far and after getting the assist for Tielemans' opener, they think the 27-year-old has made a huge impact on the game.

Belgium doubled their lead in the 23rd minute thanks to a free-kick from Dries Mertens.

Gareth Southgate is without Harry Maguire this evening due to suspension and Raheem Sterling, who was forced to withdraw with injury.

It means Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is making his first competitive start for the national team.

Ben Chilwell was forced off through injury, being replaced by Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka.
