Leading social sports publisher, SPORTbible, has marked Cristiano Ronaldo's move today by releasing a new billboard in Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, one of the busiest locations in the UK, that welcomes hundreds of thousands of passers by each week!
The billboard, in the style of Manchester City's now infamous Carlos Tevez poster released in 2009, was originally created to reportedly rile up Sir Alex Ferguson and welcome Tevez to Manchester City after he left rival club Manchester United.
Following a tumultuous few days of rumours with Ronaldo looking likely to join City, it was dramatically announced this afternoon that the Juventus star will instead be joining his old club once again.
SPORTbible's new billboard, coloured in United's red and showing Ronaldo celebrating, with the words 'Welcome to Manchester' across the image, will take pride of place in Piccadilly Train Station for the next week and be shared across SPORTbible's social media channels, reaching audience of over 17 million.
