Ademola Lookman stepped up to the penalty spot in the 98th minute looking to earn Fulham a point against West Ham - but his panenka went straight down Lukasz Fabianski's throat.

It was a cagey affair at the London Stadium and West Ham went 1-0 up in the 91st minute through Thomas Soucek.

Said Benrahma brought Tom Cairney down in the box as Fulham looked for an equaliser and referee Robert Jones pointed to the spot.

Lookman took responsibility for the spot kick and attempted the cheeky chip, but Fabianski didn't move and it went straight into his gloves.

Dreams of a draw quickly faded away and West Ham players celebrated their win.

Scott Parker looked furious in the away dugout as the 23-year-old put his head in his hands.

Fans have reacted to the incident and they can't understand why the on-loan RB Leipzig winger thought it was a good idea.

Victory for West Ham moves them up to 11th in the table, while Fulham remain 17th and just one point above the relegation zone.
