Jose Mourinho sometimes gets some stick for how he treats his players, and is known for working them hard and expecting the very best from them.
However, it can be forgotten how loyal Mourinho is to his squads at the same time. Whether it's taking criticism in the press to protect them, or sticking by them in tough times, the Portuguese is always willing to return the dedication that is given to him.
This side of the manager came to the fore this Christmas, with Tottenham's Sergio Reguilon stuck celebrating the holiday by himself at home.

Knowing that the defender was set for a lonely day, Mourinho made sure to do what he could to help out.
Speaking to Spanish publication AS, Reguilon revealed the amazing gesture the 57-year-old made.
"I'd like you to know him the way I know him," Reguilon said of his boss.
"I could tell a thousand great stories. For example, on Christmas Day. He knows I'm on my own. We arrive at training on the 25th at 3pm and there's a box in my place.

"I open it up and it's a roast suckling pig, already cooked. He said to me 'I know you're alone at Christmas, and that way you don't have to cook and you'll eat well.'
"It's really important for a player that he keeps an eye on how you are, away from football."
This is actually the second time that Reguilon has been given some pig
by Mourinho, with the full-back given a £500 Iberico ham for helping
Tottenham beat Manchester City last month
Reguilon only arrived in north London this year, and will still be settling down in a new country. Despite this, the former Real Madrid man has quickly become a key player for Spurs - making 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
