Aymeric Laporte has responded to having 63 pace in FIFA 21 and he thinks EA Sports have done him a huge disservice.

Thursday evening saw the top 100 ratings from this year's game drop and Manchester City defender Laporte clocked in as an 87-rated card.

However, the Frenchman has seen his pace drop from 64 in FIFA 20 to 63 in this year's iteration.

Laporte took to Twitter and let fans know he isn't too thrilled with his rating decrease.

Alongside two images of himself, the 26-year-old captioned a tweet: "Waiting for my new FIFA rating, finding out I have 63 pace," with his head in his hand.

Laporte also expressed his frustration on Instagram and commented: "I run faster than that but ok."

EA Sports sheepishly replied: "Only way from here is up."

Laporte isn't the first Premier League player to comment on his rating in this year's FIFA.

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had his rating taken down from an 88-rated to an 87-rated.

The forward came second in last season's Premier League golden boot race and helped guide his side to FA Cup glory.

It comes as no surprise he found his downgrade quite funny.

Interestingly, the former Borussia Dortmund man's stats are up one for shooting, dribbling and defending, while his pace has dropped one.

The move in his overall means the 31-year-old doesn't make the top 10 highest rated players in the Premier League.

PFA Player of the Year winner Kevin De Bruyne leads the way as a 91-rated, ahead of Liverpool foursome Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Alisson, who are all 90-rated.

Sergio Aguero is the only player from England's top tier rated an 89 then Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Ederson and N'Golo Kante on 88-rated make up the top 10.

Elsewhere, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi sits atop the pile as a 93-rated, one higher than longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo who is 92-rated.
