Arsenal Players Filmed Shockingly Ignoring Young Mascot Before Norwich Game

Arsenal players have been filmed completely blanking a young mascot before their game against Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.
The mascot was set to greet the Arsenal squad as they arrived at Carrow Road but every player walked straight past the young lad.
How shit is this? Not one of the players took notice of the young mascot for the game at Norwich on Sunday, it would've only taken a second to a knowledge him to make the lads day. :unamused: pic.twitter.com/KQZgP1JuP2

Fans on Twitter were shocked at the behaviour of Arsenal's squad.
Headphones, Hermes and Louis Vuittons, they only have enough headspace for those kinds of things. They should be made to take those off and take notice of the fans that supply them with their trinkets

Typical arsenal behaviour.... poor kid.
They should offer him a full day with the squad, autographs, and even sitting on the bench on a match day...
Make this kids day twitter...

My hearts in my mouth at this ,that poor kid ,probably been the highlight of his year to stand next to his hero's and they can't even lift their heads to him.not all their pay comes from sponsorships they need to remember that

Hang your heads in shame....just one of you shake that lads hand he would have remembered that for the rest of his life.
Arsenal football club should invite him to the ground to meet all the players for that.#disgraceful

I have a seven year old that (for whatever reason, despite us being poor) has decided he loves Arsenal like I do. Imagining him going to see his heroes and getting blanked makes me feel so sad. This poor little guy :pensive:

The chairman of Epping FC has also replied to the tweet inviting the young boy to be a mascot at one of their games.
Absolute disgrace. I am the Chairman of Epping Town FC. You are most welcome to be our match day mascot at a game of your choice. Bring your parents, family and friends with you and be in the presence of great footballers who are nice men at the same time. DM me if interested.

Calum Chambers posted a series of photos on Twitter disputing the claims and showed some of Arsenal's first team meeting the mascot after the game.
The cameras sometimes only show one side of the story. It's always great to meet our Junior Gunners mascot in the dressing room before every match. We hope Billy had a great day at Norwich on Sunday and it was a pleasure to meet him. pic.twitter.com/qBBRZz1g8e

On the pitch, the game was full of incident and ended 2-2.
Daniel Farke's side took the lead twice but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace salvaged a point in Freddie Ljungberg's first game in charge.
Ljungberg told Football.London following the game:
"Of course I was proud and honoured to be allowed to stand there on the touchline and lead this great club.

"If we look at the game, truly we started well. We dominated totally, found pockets of space and created chances. I would have expected us to take the lead."
Ljungberg is currently caretaker manager after Unai Emery's sacking on Friday morning.
