Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has said she is desperate for him to pop the question.

She revealed this and more in a new Netflix documentary about her life which is set to be released soon. She shared an exclusive clip from the highly-anticipated show on her Instagram page on Sunday.

It features Rodriguez answering a friend's question about whether she and the Manchester United star will ever tie the knot.

"It doesn't depend on me," she says. "I wish."

The 27 year old's answer includes the Spanish word 'Ojala'. This is of Arabic origin and derives from the expression 'Mash'Allah' which translates in English to 'let's hope so'.

Rodriguez and R7 have been together for five years. She gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina in November 2017.

However, the couple are still yet to say 'I do' and denied they had done so in Morocco in the summer of 2019 after the press claimed they had.

Rodriguez also confessed in a preview of the documentary that her life has 'changed' since meeting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, describing him as a 'handsome man'.

Fans of the former Juventus and Real Madrid man will be pleased to know that Ronaldo does appear in the documentary. It's believed he will also tell his side of the story about the couple's relationship and how they first met.

"Cristiano's incorporation is total but compliments a vision of who Georgina is and her relationship with the father of her children," said Alvaro Diaz, Netflix's Spain Director of Entertainment, as quoted by The Sun.

"It conditions all her life but the focus is on her and knowing her also through her own eyes."

'Soy Georgina' promises to be a very interesting watch indeed.
