Hilarious Footage Of Kevin De Bruyne Taking The Mick Out Of Jack Grealish During Trophy Presentation Emerges

The Manchester City teammates were having a great laugh during the presentation.

A hilarious video of Kevin De Bruyne ripping into Manchester City teammate Jack Grealish during a trophy presentation has recently emerged online.

The 30-year-old midfielder, who helped the Blues to their fourth Premier League title in five years, notched a career-high 15 goals and eight assists during the 2021/22 league campaign.

He also scooped a number of other awards throughout the year, including Manchester City's official 'Etihad Player of the Month for April.

De Bruyne notched four goals and four assists in April and as a result, he edged out teammate Gabriel Jesus – who also enjoyed a superb month – by a handful of votes.

The Belgian, who had won three out of the last four Etihad monthly awards at the time of recording, was asked to react to his best moments from the month, as well as answer questions on the team's form.

But as you can see in the footage below, he also found time to take the mick out of teammate Grealish. This is incredible.

After telling Grealish to "shut up" after he interrupted filming, De Bruyne quickly points out that the England international only managed to score one goal in April.

He then asks him to come over before muttering under his breath, "I'll tell him maybe next year you can win one."

Grealish then poses with the trophy while De Bruyne laughs and commentates in the background.

As mentioned earlier, De Bruyne beat the likes of Son Heung-min, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah to the Premier League Player of the Year trophy last month.

He was delighted to pick up the gong.

"To win this award for a second time is an achievement that I am really proud of,” he said.

“There is so much quality in the Premier League and it is a pleasure to be nominated with so many other great players who have had incredible seasons for their clubs.

“I think my performances this season have been good and I am happy that I have been able to contribute with goals and assists throughout the season.

“Thank you to all of the staff, coaches and especially my teammates because without them this wouldn’t be possible.”
