A football fan has left fans in disbelief with one of the most impressive trick shots ever.

Back in June 2023, San Jose Earthquakes were in action against Portland Timbers in the MLS.

Whilst the match ended in a dreary 0-0 draw, one fan went viral after displaying his impressive football skills.

During the half-time interval, the fan was challenged with trying to kick the ball from the 18-yard line to the centre spot.

The fan duly timed his kick perfectly as the ball rolled perfectly onto the centre spot, you can watch the footage below.

Fans were quick to react to the video on social media.

One said: “Wow, that is so satisfying to watch, perfectly weighted just like prime Andrea Pirlo.”

Another tweeted: “I don’t think I could’ve put the ball with my hands on there as good as that.”

A third fan added: “Please tell me that guy won a million dollars for this.”

Someone else wrote: “This is shockingly impressive.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “What halftime/in between innings or quarters competition would you be most proud of winning? I would never stop bragging if I pulled something like this off.”

Another fan said: “HOW DOES THE CROWD NOT GO BANANAS FOR THIS.”

The MLS is growing year on year and securing the signature of Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi will only help aid the promotion of the league.

Upon the announcement, Messi said: “I will not return to Barcelona, I will join Inter Miami.

“After winning the World Cup and not being able to go to Barca, it was time to go to the United States to live football in a different way and enjoy more day to day. Obviously with the same responsibility and desire to want to win and to always do things well. But more calmly.”

Do you think the MLS will ever become one of the top leagues in the world? Let us know in the comments.
