He deservedly received a yellow card...

Luis Suarez is definitely the sort of bloke who would have no problem diving and trying to win a penalty in an Under 15's Sunday League game.

And today he proved that he doesn't care how many people are attending the game, he just can't help himself but cheat on a football pitch.

Playing behind closed doors against Las Palmas, following the frightening scenes in Catalonia that has seen 460 people injured as civilians and police have clashed at polling stations, Suarez tried to con the referee again and win a penalty.

The Uruguayan has a reputation for terrible theatrics but this one is undoubtedly one of the worst he's produced.

Through on goal, Suarez rounds Leandro Chichizola but instead of staying on his feet and putting the ball into the net, the former Liverpool striker flings himself to the floor and tries to make out as though he's been tripped.

The referee was having none of it, though, and correctly brandished a yellow card to Suarez, who somehow reckons he didn't do anything wrong.

Twitter ripped into the Barca No.9 and his decision to dive:

Barca were already 1-0 up through Sergio Busquets when Suarez dived, and Lionel Messi bagged a brace to give Ernesto Valverde's side a 3-0 at an empty Nou Camp.
