Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli had to be replaced ahead of kick off on Saturday evening, after picking up an injury in the warm up ahead of the FA Cup third round game against Newcastle United.
Martinelli had an impressive debut season for the Gunners last year, scoring 10 goals in all competitions, but his campaign was cut short by a serious knee injury in March, in the FA Cup game against Portsmouth.
The 19-year-old returned to action last month, coming on as a 71st minute substitute against Everton, and has made four appearances so far.

On Saturday he was due to start against Newcastle in the third round of the FA Cup but the teenager went down with an injury in the warm up and had to be replaced by Reiss Nelson.
Speaking to the Daily Mail about his recovery, Martinelli said, "Mikel talked to me during my recovery. Always calling me to know how I was, even when I returned to Brazil for a time in August. When the club needed me, he talked to me again, asking if I was feeling ready to play.

"I said, yes. I still feel a bit of pain in the knee, but the doctors say that it is fine. I've not been able to play 90 minutes yet, but it also needs time. My focus is on getting better and helping Arsenal.
Hopefully Saturday's setback doesn't leave him out of action for any length of time.
