Everton Fan Smacked Joachim Andersen On The Bum

Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen got more than he bargained for on Thursday night when he got a smacked arse by one over zealous Everton fan.

Palace would have been dreaming of a top 10 finish and the chance to move above rivals Brighton on Thursday, when they led 2-0 Everton at half time.

However Everton produced an incredible comeback to actually secure their stay in the Premier League for another year, something that looked under threat.

The match was marred by ugly scenes at the end of the game, as Patrick Vieira was harassed by a pitch invader as he walked off the pitch.

However the manager wasn't the only member of the Eagles' team who got 'attacked' with Andersen getting a spanking from one fan after he tussled for the ball on the sidelines with Dele Alli, in a clip that's now gone viral.

Clearly she wasn't happy with Andersen trying to get the ball of Alli, and it's no surprise considering the impact the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder had on the game.

Alli moved to Everton in the January transfer window but it hadn't been a smooth transition for the former England player since moving north.

He hadn't started a league game ahead of Thursday night and once again had to make do with a place on the bench before kick off.

However Frank Lampard brought him on at 2-0 down at half time and he pulled off a performance of the ilk he used to produce in 2017.

The win meant that Everton stay in the Premier League, when their future looked much bleaker as they trailed 2-0 and Burnley were winning in the first half.

In the end the Clarets were pulled back, and earned a draw with Aston Villa, thanks to Nick Pope's brilliant performance, leaving an intriguing final day of the season.

The Clarets need to equal or better Leeds United's results, as they take on Newcastle United at home, with Leeds facing Brentford away from home.
