Kylian Mbappe's advice for 15-year-old brother Ethan, they could play together at PSG very soon

Ethan Mbappe made his PSG first-team debut in December, just days before the World Cup final.

Kylian Mbappe was the talk of the town in the days leading up to this month's World Cup final between France and Argentina.

The 24-year-old forward, who scored eight goals at this winter's tournament, would go on to bag a hat-trick in normal time before slotting past Emiliano Martinez in a tense penalty shoot-out.

It was a masterclass in finishing from the speedy Frenchman, who was awarded the Golden Boot award at this winter's tournament.

But 3,000 miles away, at Paris Saint-Germain's €350 million training centre in Poissy, another Mbappe was making history.

Just two days before the final, a teenage Ethan Mbappe came on as a second-half substitute for Paris Saint-Germain in their 60-minute friendly against Paris FC.

PSG would secure a 2-1 win against the Ligue 2 outfit, with Nordi Mukiele and Ismael Gharbi netting ahead of their league clash with Strasbourg on Wednesday.

But it was the appearance of 15-year-old midfielder Ethan Mbappe that made headlines.

After the full-time whistle, the teenager expressed his pride at making his senior bow. "Very excited for my debut in the pros.'" he wrote on Instagram.

In the months prior to making his breakthrough at Les Parisiens, Ethan was advised to "stay calm" by older brother Kylian as he progressed through the ranks.

“I tell him: ‘stay calm!’ But he is calm," Mbappe told French publication L'Equipe last year. "I am the older one! It is the story of life but he is completely different to me, whether that is in his attitude, his character, his game.

“He needs to follow his path. But he will have something that I did not have: the pressure of a name. He will have to make a name for himself through his first name.

"The problem is that we have a similar face and people think we are the same!”

Ethan joined the club in the same summer as brother Kylian, who arrived from fellow Ligue 1 outfit Monaco for £160m.

The 15-year-old, who is left-footed, is a different type of player to his brother, playing in a supporting midfield role, although he has shown glimpses in attacking areas.

You can see a compilation of his outing against Paris FC below.
