Erling Haaland's stats on Football Manager 2023 are insane, he's already causing bugs in the game

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is a cheat code on Football Manager 2023.

Erling Haaland's stats on Football Manager 2023 have been shared online and it's fair to say the Norwegian goal machine will cause chaos on this year's game.

Avid FM fans will have been aware of Haaland's incredible abilities for years now, having very much been a wonderkid you would sign for the future and develop into a world-beater.

But this time around, Manchester City's 15-goal No.9 is one of the very best players on the game and looks like a cheat code.

Still only 22, Haaland has been given a five-star rating for a number of rules, including advanced forward, complete forward, poacher and pressing forward.

His technical, mental and physical attributes, meanwhile, are quite frankly insane. Haaland has 20 determination, 19 pace, 19 natural fitness, 18 finishing, 18 anticipation, 18 composure, 18 off the ball, 17 balance, 17 strength and 17 penalty taking.

You really couldn't ask for much more from a striker, who is producing FM-like numbers in real life when it comes.

Haaland is so good that he is already causing bugs on FM, which released its beta to those who pre-ordered on Friday.

“I had to reject a screenshot that said ‘Haaland scores his 60th goal of the season,'" studio director Miles Jacobson revealed to Four Four Two.

“We’ve done a bit of work on that… now it looks like he could do it in real life. Haaland causes bugs on his own: in real life and in the game.

“The guy is even better than I thought he was going to become. I don’t think he’s human but what a player to watch. What an inspiration to young kids to work because obviously he’s got natural talent but he works so hard.

“Such a good role model and I’m glad that so many people heard about him first in Football Manager."

City are a licensed team in this year's game and it's expected to be a lot harder to sign Haaland, who will no doubt command a huge fee and wages.

Jacobson revealed that Haaland scored 55 goals in 37 games in his second season playing with him, which isn't too far away from the tally he could reach if he keeps up his ridiculous goalscoring form in the Premier League.

The former Borussia Dortmund man wasn't happy with his FIFA 23 rating but we're guessing he won't have many issues with his FM stats.
