Man United fans can't get enough of Erik ten Hag's classy moment with young fan, it sums up their boss

Manchester United fans loved it.

Manchester United fans are loving a classy moment between Erik ten Hag and a young supporter before the Carabao Cup final.

Ten Hag successfully claimed his first trophy for the club following his appointment last summer as his side beat Newcastle United 2-0 to win the Carabao Cup on Sunday.

First-half goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford ensured Man United bagged the first major domestic piece of silverware this season.

It's their first trophy since 2017, with Ten Hag working wonders at Old Trafford as the club remain challengers on three other fronts this campaign.

He's doing a brilliant job, with Man United sitting third in the Premier League and in the thick of the FA Cup and the Europa League.

But Man United fans also love Ten Hag's personality, and they can't get enough of his wholesome exchange with a young fan before their clash against Newcastle.

A video shows the Dutch boss signing a kid's shirt before posing for a picture. He has a little word with him before heading to the dressing room.

The interaction between Ten Hag and the Man United supporter sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "Nah I absolutely love that man."

A second tweeted: "Look at the hat man every single day I fall more in love with this guy."

A third added: "Class act!"

A fourth said: "You can’t not love this guy man."

Another commented: "Best kind of guy him."

Ten Hag's masterful game plan against Newcastle saw them win the Wembley Stadium showpiece.

And he spoke of his delight of bagging his first trophy for Man United and was asked whether it was a gamble to become the manager.

"Maybe it was a risk but I am stubborn and I just love United so when I see our shirts, the bond with the fans, when I see Old Trafford, the legacy like Sir Alex [Ferguson] left, and how so many big players were developed in a United shirt and we want to do the same," he said.

"This team wants to make its own history and when this opportunity came I thought it was the right club for me and that I want to be a part of it."
