England fans already know the player Thomas Tuchel will recall to the squad when he becomes manager.

Tuchel has reportedly agreed to become the next England manager after holding talks with the FA.

An unveiling is expected this week after a 'rapid conclusion' to negotiations.

He is set to become just the third foreign England manager after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello and the first German-born boss.

Ahead of officially being appointed as the Three Lions boss, fans are convinced Tuchel will recall Marcus Rashford to the squad.

While he was at Paris Saint-Germain, the 51-year-old hailed Rashford's character and his skillset ahead of a clash against Manchester United in the Champions League.

"We value him a lot more when he's playing in England and not in Parc des Princes honestly because it can get a little bit annoying with him," he joked.

"The guy is a very young adult who takes his responsibility off and on the pitch which is honestly very impressive.

"I've met him three times as an opponent and I meet a calm guy, I meet a humble guy which is amazing because I like this mixture a lot."

Tuchel added: "On a sporting side, it is clear he is a big threat with his speed and his ability to score with his precision in finishing and his determination and his quality.

"He is so precise with his finishing both outside and inside the box, he is super rapid on counterattacks and is strong in the air from headers."

Based on what he has said before about the Man United star, fans on social media reckon Rashford will get a spot in Tuchel's first England squad once he's appointed.

One X user wrote: "Tuchel finally gets the chance to manage Rashford I’m genuinely so happy for him, he’s been on his knees to coach Rashford for years."

A second tweeted: "Marcus Rashford coming back in the England squad soon. Thomas Tuchel, counting on you."

A third added: "Thomas Tuchel x Marcus Rashford, movies will be made."

A fourth said: "Tuchel gets to achieve his lifelong dream of managing Marcus Rashford.. fairs."

Another commented: "It's time for Rashford to get back to the England LW spot!"
